Adedoyin Beyioku-Alase, a Hard of Hearing person, popularly known as Mama Deaf. She was born on the 12th January 1955 at Ebute-Metta, Lagos, and had her primary and secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria.

A trained social worker by the Lagos State Ministry of Sport and Social Development, she is the founder of Deaf Women Association of Nigeria, the immediate past Chairperson of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Lagos State Chapter, Vice-chairperson, Disability Policy Advocacy Initiative and she is the distinguished lecturer of the year 2017 for STAND-UP, Nigeria Independence Anniversary at Gallaudet University, Washington D.C New York, USA.

She is a former member of, Board of Trustees, Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA), and the National Women Leader of APC Persons with Disabilities Support Group. Her commitment to promoting the rights and welfare of persons living with disabilities have earned her a lot of outstanding recognition from notable bodies such as Gallaudet University (Office of International Program), Washington DC, USA, Access Ability Model, kingdom of Sweden Embassy and the National Human Rights Commission, Abuja.
