Mrs. Ngozi Oyewole joins UCLDA’s International Advisory Council

The Management of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa hereby announces the appointment of Mrs. Ngozi Oyewole as a member of its International Advisory Council.

Mrs. Ngozi Oyewole is one of the African leaders championing the energy transition towards a carbon-free economy. She is the Managing Director/CEO of Noxie Limited, an award-winning, integrated service provider and a big player in the oil and gas, medical, food and construction industries.

She is a result-driven, resilient, and ace ‘womentrepreneur’ with solid credentials in leadership, business management and strategic planning. She holds a degree in Business Administration and is an alumnus of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

In 2015, she was nominated by Forbes Magazine as one of the leading women entrepreneurs in Africa, championing business sustainability and women’s inclusion in business. In 2019, she won the Woman of Excellence Award from the WEConnect International. Again, in 2019, she was honored as an Exceptional Leader of Excellence from the Women Economic Forum – WEF (WEF) and ALL Ladies League.

She is a certified and active member of WeConnect International; SheTrades Commonwealth; Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI); Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC); WimBiz NG; Nigeria Gas Association (NGA); Pan-African Manufacturers Association (PAMA); Assistant Secretary of the International Women’s Society (IWS); Lioness Club of Africa; Thriving Women Society; GAIA Women Club; Global Fund for Women; World Pulse; Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) Nigeria.

Currently, she is the Vice-Chairperson of the Commonwealth Business Women Nigeria and CEO of Strategic Women & Youth Institute (SWYI), an education management and economic empowerment program for women and youths.

She is a NITAD certified trainer and holds more than 35 certifications from the SheTrades Commonwealth Global Entrepreneurship Program and in her industry, including the MOODY’S Financing Your Growing Business certificate, Women Leadership Institute’s certificate in Entrepreneurship and Leadership, etc.

As the Founder of Noxie Limited, she has leveraged her years of experience in ensuring that all her products, though produced locally, meet all international specifications with the support of her foreign partners, such as PPE Services B.V, Netherlands; MIGE Office Furniture, Singapore; Tingley Corporations, USA; Anowat Projects and Resources Ltd, Turkey and Hong Kong.

She is the President of Beatrice Chiebonam Foundation, where she engages her influence to reach out and render financial aid to over 400 widows, yearly in various parts of her home state, Rivers State. As an unrepentant Philanthropist, she belongs to many humanitarian groups, such as the Almajiri Child Rights Initiative; Women Impacting Nigeria and When in Need, where they champion causes including access to education and better livelihoods for the less privileged.
